How to delete incomplete amule downloads

Hi, I am just wondering if there is any way to delete incomplete
downloads in the queue in amule´s transfer window- or elsewhere in amule for that matter.
Can anyone help me with that? By the way, I´m using Mac OS X. Also, I have no experience with the Terminal utility whatsoever.

I'm sure there is a better way through the terminal, but try repairing permissions on your disk and then deleting.

Thanks for your help! You mean to use the Disc Utility? I´m doing that regularly. And after I´ve done that...?
The problem is, there seems to be no deleting or canceling function for incomplete downloads in amule. ( if you know one: where is it? ) Choosing a file and pressing the delete button on the keyboard has no result, either. So I´m indefinitely stuck with all possible downloads in the incomplete downloads list.
If you know how to use the "terminal", could you possibly guide me through the steps?
