how to edit toolbar?

lately my friend got a virus that disables task manager, registry editor, and command prompt.
but wat i want to know is how did the virus disable "Folder Options" and removed it's button form "My Computer>Tools>"

hmm... well you didnt hit the bulls eye.
i want to know how to do that. not creating a HJT log.
and it's not my PC thats infected.

Without a HJT log i cant tell you how it happened.

One thing you could try is click start then run and type sfc scannow. The windows cd will be required for that tho.

so i guess some protected file is edited by the virus.

but i found the way through gpedit.msc
