How to in a dot matrix

guys, i know that you are more knowledgeable than i am.

do any of you know how to refill a dot matrix ribbon?

Open up the cartridge and evenly drop ink on the ribbon rolls inside?

Usually you just replace the ribbon. Normally you remove the top or open the front cover depending on model, remove the old ribbon, insert the new one, and close it back up.

thanks guys,, im looking forward to supply my school with re-inked epson ribbon cartridges. (those huge cartridges)

i assume that the re-inked ribbon will only have a fewer print cycles than that of the new ribbon refill because the epson printer runs through the ribbon a lot of time right?
correct me if im wrong BTW
