How to Recover Lost XP Product Key?

I need to reinstall XP but can't find my Product Key.

Also can't get into My Comp / Properties to see it
(can't open things, that's why I have to reinstall)

When I had problems with 98SE several years ago,
MS gave me a "master" key to try.

Is that possible with XP? Anybody know who to
contact?

You can use the tool "Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder" to see what your key is from your XP installation

Yes, after I posted I found that on another site, and tried it.

Unfortunately, whatever my problem is, it won't let me run
exe files, that included.

The problem is rik, macx can`t run any .exe files, so I doubt he`d be able to follow the instructions anyway. I think his only option is to reformat and start again.
