My DRU-510A (Sony DVD-RW) is suddenly not being recognized as a drive, it is in the Device Manager with an error that says Code 19 (corrupt registry). I have restored previous registries, uninstalled the drive, and physically unplugged it. No go. Please send instructions on how to clean the registry of the history of the DVD-RW. That way, I can get a clean shot at this thing. As far as I know, nothing has been added to my system recently to coincide with the sudden failure to see my DVD-RW.
