hp and windows XP 2 version of windows

I have hp desktop a705w. i loaded windows xp pro on it. i thought i formated the drive now i dont think so because when it boots up i have to choose xp pro or xp home well i hit on the home and nothing there but if i hit on the pro windows will load. well my question is how do i get it to just boot into xp pro. without choosing. xp or home.

You should be able to edit the Boot.ini file on the C: drive. It's a hidden, system, read only file, so you have to change it to not be read only to edit it. You can also go into My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Startup and Recovery and edit the file there.
