HP CLJ 4550n problem...
Good morning, I hope someone can help me with this. I have a HP Color Laserjet 4550n that is on a network. We use this printer to print full color pictures for marketing purposes. When printing to it from a mac(os X v10.4.2) or pc(win2k) using any adobe program, the printer either doesn't print the document with a Post Script error or the colors are wrong. For instance, While printing from Adobe Acrobat 7 from either a mac or pc, the purple comes out as blue or the entire document is the wrong color and when printing from Illustrator CS2, I get a post script error. I thought it was a driver issue, but there are only two drivers for the mac and a previous windows driver does the same thing. The toner is new, the drum kit/fuser kit/transfer belt all have more than half of their life. I don't know what the problem is and it's driving me up a wall! If anyone can help, it would be very much appreciative.
