HP Composite Video In

My HP has a front panel with a composite video input (RCA) and s-video. I can't figure out how to use them. Even when I plug something in it does not show up as a video capture device or anything. Can anyone help?

Does anyone have an HP with RCA and s-video in? If so, does it work?

How do you know they are inputs? Read The Friendly Manual and make sure maybe?

It says "Input" right on them.

Also, the manual pretty much says nothing about them besides that they are there.
