Hp m7529c won't boot, hp screen only

Ok, here's my situation. My PC shut down psu was bad, replaced with anew one same kind, when i turn it on, all the fans come on, it goes to the hp startup screen,then stops. I have tried removing all the hd,cd,dvd,vidio card,fans and any other cable one at the time, but still no good.
the keyboard will not work, have tried two, same thing..
no beeps, but a clicking noise from around the ram area.
Could the ram stop it from going to bootup

try booting with one stick of ram in

It passed Test one, i get one beep.

test two: I then plugged a single stick of RAM into the MOBO i the first 1st blue RAM slot nearest the CPU.
Jumped the start button again as before and then i did not get beep, no beep at all. just the clicking nosie where do i go next

this seems to be a memory problem.. Have you got another computer you can try them in? Also take both ram out and boot, you should get a series of beeps

with no ram installed, i have one beep
with 1 or 2 ram installed,i have lockup
no i will have to buy some ddr400, cl3

well theres usually around 3 beeps when no ram is installed..

Ask one of your mates to check your ram in thier computer
