HP pavilion system recovery used but can't access computer

I used the HP pavilion system recovery on my computer, but it says it doesn't detect any mouse's that I put in there and because of that I can't get past the screen where there the user liscence agreement, and I can't get by that with just the keyboard.....

anyone know how I can get my comp to detect a mouse?
I can't get into my computer cuz I am stuck at that screen

first of all just use the keyboard to install is for now, and you most likely have the mouse pluged into the usb port which means you need to install a driver for it but you cant since its in the windows installation, so just put it in the ps/2 port if you have the adaptor which the mouse should have came with

yeah but....

I put a PS/2 mouse in the green round mouse port at the top of the computer and it still tells me that it can't detect it..... and like I said b4 I can't get access to my computer and get through the liscence agreement thing with just the key board.

so I don't know what to do....

Enter the BIOS baby

Enter Bios and make sure that PS/2 mouse is enabled.
