I have problems with my monitor..help pls :(

whenever i run something that has 3d graphics on it my monitor becomes kind of faded and the whole screen becomes blurry..I just can't explain how it looks like clearly enough..but after a while my PC starts to crash..

can anyone help me please? what seems to be the problem here? I'm running on windows XP, pentium 4 1.50ghz and a GeForce 2 mx 100/200...is the problem with my video card or what? I haven't upgraded my pc for 6 years now..honestly.. I'd appreciate the help..thanks!

Where do we start? You could try updating your video cards drivers. Are you keeping up with Windows critical updates? What Operating system are you running? 6 years is a long time when it comes to computer technology. Have you thought about buying a new computer?
