I have Windows XP and when I delete files they are not in the recycle bin

HI,

I have Windows XP and recently whenever I delete a file or files they are not in the recycle bin :monkey: . Can you tell me how to fix this. Is there an easy solution?

first thing to do is check the settings on your recycle bin. right click on the recycle bin and choose properties open the tab that shows your primary hard drive make sure the box that says "do not move files to the recycle bin. remove files immeadinately when deleted" is not checked.

Recycle bin in Empty when I Delete Files

I did check that in mt recycle bin properties and it is not selected to delete the files immediately. So what else could the problem be? Thanks for the info.
