I need an Audio driver

I recently upgraded from my old reliable Win 98 to Win 2000 Professional for online classes. I could not load any drivers from my Gateway systems restoration CD. The only thing that does not work is my sound system. My system info is in my profile. I would appreciate the help finding a driver. I tried to find a driver on my own but didn't have any luck. Thanks...Rich

Download and run SIW from here and click on PCI in the left pane and in the window that appears, look for Audio Device in Class Type and copy the full name of the device from under Device Name to a notepad file and save it. Then try and look for the drivers or post the info here and I'll try and get them for you.
