Well its time for a new mobo so i can run my new ram. Welll heres some specs on what i need.

socket 478 (that can run a 2.4 intel)
agp/pci
that can run 512 pc 2700 ddr and a pc 2100 256 mb ram.
prefferably would like sound,lan,usb built it.

and if you find any deals that comes with a psu. that would be great because i need one of those to around 350-450 watt. Im really still new to pcs and tryin hard to learn, but i need some of your aDVICE..

Which is the new ram? Do you already have a video card?
DDR ram is so cheap now, why not just get 1GB of PC3200. It's like $80 for 1GB.

haah yea i know its cheap, but im cheap 2!. im only 15 and i cant afford it. I need a new mobo because im running 256 mb ram on my pc now because my mobo doesnt support my other ram (the 512 and 256).

Go to Fry's electronics in Sac. They (might) still have a socket 478 board. Don't send for one man, many of them have been opened and tried ETC. Most any socket 478 you fing will accept 768 mb of ram for sure. Go to socket 775 ASAP. (I am sure that you know that) I totally understand the money situation. Good Luck.
