I Need Some Help Hookin Up My Router

hey,
i bought a router with cords i went to hook it up and it will NOT connect to my internet..i get all the lights that are suppose to be on..ive tried restarting the pc shutting it down unplugging the modem from the wall and waiting 1 min and nothing seems to work..i need some help..if you have ne help for me..plez msg me

First, Read The Friendly Manual. I'm pretty sure it contains example setup routines for all kinds of internet connections.

If you can't make anything from the Friendly Manual, please post back here with some essential facts like what kind of internet connection you have and what kind of router is it.

No Book With Router

i dont have book on my router it just came with the cord and the router, My router is a Broadband 4 port 10/100 Mbps my internet connection is through Rogers High Speed (cable)

you will fine manual on the internet
try look'n for a little hole somewhere's that may be a reset
press it in
most routers have a default webpage for setup of same
find out what yours is and what the password is if any
