I have just had a new motherboard put in my computer a gigabyte now everything is working fine but my daughters computer the client shows itself as connected to mine the host,i can ping the client but cant ping from the client to the host,the firewall is off no difference it shows the gateway on the clients working. i have 192.168.0.1 on my computer subnet mask 255.255.255.0. on the clients 198.168.0.162 subnet mask same and default gateway 192.168.0.1 i am completely baffled incidentally the host connection to internet is working fine but no connection on the client,any ideas,before i go mad.
