IDE Scan Problem

I start my computer and it loads normally till it goes to a screen where it says "IDE scan" then it will have some words saying:
Drive 0 - not detected
Drive 1 - not detected

But before it is detected. I dont know why it is now not detected. Anyone know how i can fix this? I went on some other forum and they said its a RAID driver but I totally dont know what it is about.

My mother board is ASUS P5LD2-VM with a 160GB harddrive 2gb ram.

Please help me out here.
thanks

More information about the setup of your machine would help.
Are you running SATA HDD where are Roms located etc.
Check Bios settings and Website for upgrades/conflicts.

this may help

ok IDE is the connection a PATA hard drive-cd,dvd drive- use the flat usually grey ribbon looking one, whats happening and i dont know if its seeing your cd drive or not or if you have one but unless you have a IDE hard drive the bios is still looking for one. sence you have SATA its not finding it go into your bios and set the primary IDE to none instead of the default auto. 'if your cd and or dvd drive is in the primary set the secondary to none ;-Þ'
