IE 7 Address Bar Unresponsive

Hey folks

When I type a new website address into IE 7, the address bar becomes unresponsive and I can't visit the site. Any site. I have to go via a link on my homepage search engine.

Any suggestions??

are you typing it in correctly? also try doing it with your firewall off and see what happens. if it works, its your firewall

Definetly not a firewall problem - doesn't work regardeless.Not a spelling issue - totally unresponsive. IE 6 is fine as is Firefox. Tried resetting IE 7 to defaults - no joy. Tried lots of different settings configs no joy.
