I'm having a real pain with my web browsers. I'm using dial-up 31.2 kbps, and the connection is just fine (I can update anti-virus & anti-spyware programs) but I can't surf the web with IE or Firefox. If I use Firefox, when I enter the web address, the browser just stays blank and the connection indicator says it's done loading already. If I open up IE, it will search for the website, but then crash (the error message indicates it's code 0xc0000005, with all the other addresses at 0). My OS is XP Pro.
I think it might have to do with some anti-spyware programs I put in: either Lavasoft Ad-Aware, Webroot Spy Sweeper, or Secretmaker (I really think it's Secretmaker, and have since uninstalled that program, but I can't solve the problem). What's really odd is that I CAN BROWSE using the browser on RealPlayer 10.0, which is what I'm using to post. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!!
