IE6 stops working

IE6 stops working sometimes. It displays the screen showing you have no connection to the internet, which I know I do. I have to close IE6 and delete the cookies, temp internet files, and whatever files might be in the temp directory for it to work properly. it is really bugging me because I have not been able to resolve it. Usually I am pretty good at this stuff. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it a few times with the same results. And yes I know that I am not running any anti virus software.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to add remove programmes in your control pane and uninstall the msn toolbar.

if that doesn`t help, I have no idea what`s wrong. Apart from that, your HJT log is clean.

What would removing the msn toolbar do?

Apparently, the msn toolbar can cause IE to crash etc, that`s why I suggested uninstalling it.

Sorry, it looks like it is still happening. Any other sugestions. It seems like it is happening mainly to the msn homepage, but occasionlay it will happen to other sites. Sometimes I will load another website before msn comes up and the other site works fine and sometimes it does not.

I`m not sure why this is happening.

I know this won`t fix your IE problems, but have you tried Firefox? You can get it HERE. Might be worth a try.

I downloaded it last night. So far so good
