Iiyama Prolite TFT Query

I have just bought a Prolite E435S, when the monitor is displaying black there is a clearly visible glow visible at the sides and bottom of the screen. Is this normal? I have tried adjusting the settings with no change. This is my first TFT and whilst I am happy with it I find this a bit strange. Any comments would be appreciated.

i have the same and no probs yet.try doing auto setup or down your brightness/contrast

I don't think this is a problem at all. Dont worry i have a prolite myself and i see the same things along the edges.
