Importing outlook ics files into thunderbird

Is there a way to read ICS files in Thunderbird?

There`s a program HERE that converts ICS to a range of formats.

It probably isn`t what you want,but it`s a start.

apparently it's a file type used by outlook. I wanted to import an airline reservation from an airline website. I accidently deleted the original email and the airline only exports ICS files.

hum;I have Outlook but have never see/used ICS files with it (have none either).
try opening the file with notepad? formating may be goofy, but you might be able
to at least read it.
