Incredimail and Microsoft Outlook setup problems

We have XP Home edition. my wife tried to set up her new email accounts in both Incredimail and Microsoft Outlook. she went thru setup in both programs. she typed her new user name and password into the boxes and did the whole setup proceedure in each program and the"Congradulations! message comes up in Incredimail, "your new account is setup!" and when she trys to check for new mail the same error message pops up in either of them:
Server Details -ERR box locked
why does this msg appear in both programs and how can it be fixed so she can use either one or even just one of the 2 programs?

Your ISP may have security settings at their sevvers that you may need to confirm . these are located on the properties pages of each mail account. You will see stuff like SSL , Authentification settings and server ports etc. Your ISP can give you the correct settings for all these items
