By the end of 2002, there should be SATA-sytems on the market. As you might have noticed, the parallel ATA is finally dead, though it could take up to four years to eliminate all parallel ATA devices. Nevertheless, I'm going to wait before buying a new system, because most new technology suffers childhood disease.

It's about time. What I love about SATA is its thin connectors. That'll make sure the air flow is sufficient in the case and it makes the case looks neat too!
