Installation logs

I know there is a program out there but i don't know what its called. If I install a program I want to be sure of what files it has created and saved and where they are saved on my computer. I used to have a program that would do this but i cant remember what it was called, any ideas or programs?

AT one time there was MicroHelp's Uninstaller that could do that.
There must be similar others (still) around.
Ever heard of Google?

yea i tried but i kept getting programs for windows 2000...will try again though...
