Monday I recieved bluetooth dongle in mail and started setting it up so my PDA could get internet and Hotsync with my computer wirelessly. I never could get it to stay connected and work, so I left it alone. My wife was on internet all day. [Bluetooth was through usb, ethernet card hooks to DSL modem. Never have any problems with dsl!! Just plug it in and always worsk!] Then when on internet, it comes up and says no connection and asks if i want to dial up. So run through connections and everything and it won't hook up to internet through ethernet, so uninstall blue tooth and take it out, and it still won't. Have been through many settings, but I know there is one somewhere that I am missing. Just wondering if anyone can talk me through this. Thanks in advance everyone!!!

Maybe the DSL connection from your ISP is down?

What happens when you "redial" the DSL connection?

If u use IE, check your connections tab in internet options.

stop any proxy server connection settings and choose 'never dial a connection'

What happens when you "dial" the DSL connection? Or is your modem supposed to do this?
