Internet-sound problems. NEED HELP!!!

I have a problem with my internet-sound, whenever i play any sound in the internet explorer(or firefox, or opera) i cant hear anything.. For example, when i try to view anything on youtube, i can see the video, but i cant hear any sound...same with trying to watch some television live online... its the same on my myspace, and on everything else..... However, when i download something from the internet, it works perfectly well... In my internet explorer, in "tools"-"internet options"-"advanced"-"multimedia"-"play sound on webpages" is checked.... so i dont really know what to do.. CAN ANYONE HELP ME????

not expert but, does Quick Time and Real Player will help fixing the problem..?

ok..

i'm not sure if i know how to fix it with quick time, or real player, but i will try that anyway, sorry, im new with internet, i just got my dsl few days ago, and i wasnt sure how to fix that.... if you could just tell me how to do that, with little more details...??

Download QuickTime from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
and Real One Player from http://uk.real.com/download/player/..._basic_playerpg_4&rsrc=fd_uk_basic_playerpg_4
but not sure it will fix the problem!! download them, try if it works, if it doesnt, then just wait 2 hear from someone here
