Internet speed for windows

I recently installed the service pack 2 on my machine and my internet took a dump. If anyone else had this problem, I found software that fixed it better than new. It's called Full Throttle Patch. I'm not a real tech guy but apparently what it does is gives you unlimited socket use. If anyone is interested, check it out.
