  1. Hi... Felt bad for the fellas who can't help but be pissed off by their inspiron 8600 nuttyfan situation in "computer slows to crash in 15 - 20"... In trouble shooting I found this solution t hat worked for me. Wanted to post what I found as what goes around really should come around. I downloaded speedfan from almico. Then all I did was check the dell support option under the options tab and the next time that my cpu went nutty I turned the program on... Luckily it took care of those turbofan blues immediately :) Hope that this works for you too.

    Hi nuttyfan

I am not a mod, but
    Welcome to [IMG] :grinthumb

When I arrived, one of the Mods welcomed me with these helpful hints.

You should read how to post a new thread in this Guide.

Before posting you should read all the Posting Guidelines.

To access technical support you may go to the Forums.

Many users like to post system specs in their Profile.
System Specs are always helpful when you seek support, (see the first two suggestions).
And helpers may ask that you post some of your specs in your thread.

You can access many other online TechSpot guides Here.

    Enjoy your Stay :)
