Is it a CD-R or CD-RW?

  1. Is it a CD-R or CD-RW?

    I have some blank CD's but can't tell what they are. Is there a way to tell or a program that I can use to figure it out?

    I am recording something temporary and want to use a CR-RW. Although they only cost pennies, I dont just want to throw it a way.

    You can tell by the color. CD-RW's are deep blue while a CD-R is less blue.

    I know Nero also has a cd reader in it that will tell you what kind of media you have in the drive.
