Is my computer too new to play this?

Hey everyone... Ive been playing Diablo 2 again, but with my new rig, the graphics look like hell. I have it patched to the latest version, but still no luck. I even tried using the program compatibility wizard, and setting it to windows 95-98 settings, and again no luck. Has anyone else had this problem? (if anyone plays this game anymore, lol) Here are some pictures of what the game play looks like... it is very annoying....

Are you running it in Windows 9x compatibility mode?

The only ones Ive tired it in are Windows 95, 98, ME, and 2000... And I am running XP

Well, there's Windows NT. I'm grasping at straws. It wouldn't hurt to try.

Well I figured it out. The game was running in Direct3D mode... so I switched it to DirectDraw and it fixed the problem. I didnt have to to the program compatibility at all....
