Is my CPU dead?

Hi all, i posted a while ago about my PC problems.

Basically my PC shows no signs of life at all.

I throught it might be the PSU so i brought a new one, whacked it in and nothing...

So i brought a new Mobo, whacked that in transfered the cpu and graphics cards, plugged in all the wires etc then.......... nothing again. Was so disapointed.

So is it my CPU? i'm guessing its the only thing left, its a Athlon xp 2500+ and is not even 2 years old yet.

Provided you`ve hooked everything up correctly, and applied new thermal paste to the cpu, it does look like your cpu is dead.

Just to make absolutely sure, you could have your cpu tested at your local pc repair shop. This shouldn`t cost very much, and at least you`d know for sure.
