  1. Hey everyone, Recently I needed a masterlock code for a dell notebook and thanks to rustam I was able to acess it! I have a buddy who bought a used Mac Powerbook G4 and of course it has a password(what else is new). Now my question is can it be unlocked with a masterlock code or what can be done? If anyone can help me I know it's you guys and please try to keep it simple I'm no computer wiz:(

google for OS X Open Firmware

you can boot into the FIRMWARE, and remove any hardware boot password.

Changing the amount of RAM will also reset the firmware password, if that's the password you mean.
