No. It's a rubbish card for gaming and is mostly suited for HTPCs and the like. The 7300GT or even the 7600GT\GS would be a better bet.

ok just asking because its coming with this mobo i might have .. ill get another graphics card.

what do you think it better ati or nvidia graphic cards?

Memory Bus 64-bit = too slow
Memory Bus 256-bit = very quick and larger pipe

ATI is gone AMD owns them so until the take over clams down, but I use Nvidia Cards.. Get one that overclock already. Those from BFG are good.

well i was thinking of an ati x1950 pro they seem to be good.. then soon ill be upgrading to a ati hd2900

For what it's worth, I generally like ATI Radeon cards although they are eclipsed on the top end with the 8800GTX. Tipstir mentioned PNY. I happen to have a PNY 8800 Ultra at the moment in my newest PC. Radeons inhabit my other three and two that I built for others.

What's your power supply situation? You know what you're gonna need?

AMPS is what matters
The 500w you were thinking of has 27amps
The 450w I suggested has 33amps
My psu is 305w but has 22amps
I run a 8600GT
I could run up to a 8600GTS or a 7950GT
7950gt = 22amps
X1950Pro = they say 30amps (but probably lower)
HD2900 = 30+ (with 2 additional power connections required)
