Has anyone ever seen iTunes ruin a OS before?

One of my friends PC completely crashed when they installed iTunes. But we wanted to know if anyone has ever had a problem with iTunes.

When you say Itunes completely crashed your friends pc, what do you mean exactly?

How do you know for sure that it was Itunes?

I can`t say that I`ve ever heard of this problem before.

I`ve done a search on the web, and Techspot, and can`t find any similar problems.

I've installed iTunes on multiple machines - both mac and windows. The only downfall I've seen with installing it is being forced to install Quicktime. On some machines I don't want it installed.

yeah, itunes is a cool program, i cant see it doing anything that bad to a computer...
