  1. Obviously new to the forum. I'm a cabinet builder (custom Kitchens) by trade. My trade often forces me to use this confounded machine called a computer.

They make books for *****s, why can't they make a computer for *****s?

    Hi justgeorge

    Welcome to [IMG] :grinthumb
I think I will resist answering your rhetorical question. :haha:

You may find these to be helpful links...

How to post a new thread in this Guide.

Before posting you should read all the Posting Guidelines.

    To access technical support Forums.

Many users like to post system specs in their Profile.
System Specs are always helpful when you seek support, (see the first two suggestions).
And helpers may ask that you post some of your specs in your thread.

Thanks for the welcome wagon. I'm not a real *****, honest I'm not.
I read all of the guides listed above. Well not all; the ones about XP I skipped.
Some I found useful some were over my head, out of my comfort zone.

I normally don't jump right into a forum but when I found this website I couldn't resist, finally found a place where I might actually be able to get to the root of my problem.

    Hello George...
Looks like you've posted a question about an issue in another one of our forums.
So, you are off to a good start. Lots of good help here.

Wouldn't surprise me if someone like LookingAround, or perhaps Raybay might be the one to answer your question...
tho' a number of others could jump on it too.
I looked at it, but it would take me some research to even begin pointing you in the right direction,
and someone else probably can get you on the right track quickly.
If you were dealing with Blue Screens, probably Route44 or Archean would get to you before I could.

    You get the picture...

Thanks I sure hope someone can figure this out. Right now a BSOD would be a welcome sight, at least I'd know what was wrong with it then:haha:
