We need more to go on to help you, what rating Psu have you, have you the latest bios for your mobo, what fsb have you got it set at. Does it run ok with sound card removed. Which stage and what is displayed on the screen when it locks up. Is it random or same time everytime?
What setting are in your bios for memory, graphics, cpu?

The more details you can give us the better chance we have of helping you :)

If you have two sticks of SDR SDRAM, take one out as this board tends to freeze up when used with 2xPC133 RAM.

Also, your freezes may be being caused by the K7S5A northbridge, as ECS used double sided tape instead of thermal paste to attach the heatsink to the northbridge. Double sided tape is horrible at conducting heat so the northbridge overheats and causes a freeze.
