LAN connection sends but does not recieve

Hello

My LAN connection that I have setup sends but does not recieve any information, and because of this I have no internet connection. I know its not the network card because it tried it in another computer and it works fine.
What do I do?

How did you determine it sends, but cannot receive?

The most likely cause of this is a firewall. Please disable any firewall software you may have such as the one built-in to Windows XP, ZoneAlarm, McAfee, Norton etc...
