Linking PS2 to PC via USB

hey, i have had my ps2 for like 3 years, and i dont have a long enough usb cord to try this, so what happens if you have a game on your hd and you plug ur ps2 into the pc?

Never tried it myself, i fiddled with my SCART lead and the video/audio cables, but no avail. But, i don't think you can get double ended USB cables (ie. with the same connector at each end) usually there is just an 'in' socket and an 'out' socket, bit hard to explain in words. Do post if you get it to work though, i doubt the hardware programming is the same, so the processors wouldn't work, a PS2 would not know how to handle a Windows hd i'll wager.

i finally did it...the ps2 would go into standby while attatched to the comp, and u pressed reset and it would stay in standby...very odd
so nothing happened and when i unplugged it it worked fine. so maybe it jus didnt kno what to read?

now im wondering what happens if u have a FLASh DRIVE!?!?
