Linksys issues with ASUS Mobo????

Does anybody know if there are any issues between linksys wireless and ASUS mother boards?? I have two PC's, both running XP Pro. PC 1 is new and has an ASUS mobo. PC 2 is older and works just fine, the linksys wireless NIC works without a hitch. Now, if I take that exact same NIC and put it in PC 1, install all the same drivers, it doesn't work. I cannot connect to my access point. I'm pretty much at a stand still. I've reset my router, disabled all security features so that I would be able to connect easily and still nothing. It actually doesnt even see the signal or register the broadcasted SSID. Please help. I'm not calling linksys tech support, they suck. If any of you have ever called for support, you know what I'm talking about. Thanks in advance for any info.
