Hello to everyone
I'm new here but hope I can count on your help.
I have a Linksys Wireless-G 2.4 Router with which I use for VoIP. The problem is that I cannot even access it on its own IP 192.168.1.1. (see pic 1)
Reinstallation has failed (see pic2) to go on as it keeps claiming that my Device is not connected to the PC (false claim because I'm on Internet through it). It worked in the past (when I bought it, I installed without any problem and accessed the config page). But after shutting down my entire system for few days vacation, we now can't use the VoIP (Led is permanently out). Attempts to access the config page after even pressing "Reset" for several seconds returns with the message "The connection was refused when attempting to access 192.168.1.1"
Hmmm, A bit frustrating for a person like me who is not a techie
I'm not on a firewall or any AV.
Could anyone help point me to what I'm missing?
