Linksys Wireless Gateway Dropping Connection

I have a Linksys Wireless-G ADSL Gateway Model No.WAG54G. It connects to my ISP fine but the wireless connection to my laptop keeps dropping or has limited connection,I've been though the settings and can't see a problem with them & I'm using 64-bit Wep!!!

Anybody got any ideas???

update the router to the latest firmware and update the driver for your wireless adapter to the latest version. Also make sure that something called IEEE 802.1x is not enabled. Might also want to check for radio interference and change the channel on the router, make sure it is 1, 6 or 11. 6 is the common default of most manufacturers so I'd choose 11.
