Lite On DVD Burner Failure

I recently bought a Lite On DVD+-R DVD burner with lightscribe (sata) and It worked fine (aside from the jet engine sound when it read discs) until recently and now it has stopped reading anything. I will open the tray, insert the disc, close it, and it just sits there. The green light flashes on the front of the drive then goes off without making any sound or effort. If I try to explore or open the drive it says I need to insert a CD... Please Help.
