Location of eeprom in Dell 8600

does anyone know where the eeprom chip is located on inspiron 8600 laptop? i need to short it out. it will be my first time. thank you for your time.

I looking for the same thing, I have been unable to locate the eeprom ship for the inspiron 8600, or is there a such thing, is there anyone out there that can shed some light? any help would be greatly appreciated
