Looking for compatible Video card for ASUS MB

I am looking to upgrade my PC system with a new Video card. I am interested in the ATI Radeon 9600 XT 256mb video card but not sure if it is compatible with the ASUS A7V600-x MB. The Video card is 500mhz VPU with 400mhz ddr memory. The MB has PC3200 athlonXP CPU with 400mhz fsb, 400mhz ddr memory and AGP 8x technology with bus speed of 533mhz. Can someone tell me please if this is a compatible combination? Will there be any problems?

I know this is an old post. But unanswered.

The short answer is as long as you have AGP 8x, and your video card is AGP 8x, you're fine. If you case has the room for it. If your power supply has extra power for it. Then go right ahead.

Otherwise, if you're still hanging around here, what did you end up doing?
