Looking for good, easy multiple format sound recorder

  1. Have saved some video clips & would like to record just the
music off of them onto CD's. Also would like to record just
the music off of places like You Tube directly.

Tried Any Sound Recorder, could only get static on playback,
    probly not doing it right.

    Any recommendations?

Free is fine (of course :), don't mind paying reasonable for a good one that's
    easy to use.

Free Sound Recorder will help you!
Free Sound Recorder does exactly as it sounds -- it is an easy-to-use FREE software program that lets you record any sounds from your sound card and save the recording directly into MP3, WMA or WAV files.

Free Sound Recorder is a perfect audio recorder to record your own voice, music or any other sound by working directly with your sound card. It supports the record input/source from a microphone, streaming audio from the Internet, external input devices (e.g. CDs, LP, music cassettes, phone line etc.) as well as other applications like Winamp, Media Player, etc. With built-in advanced audio record engine, the recorder produces high quality recordings.

You can download it here FOR FREE:

I really don't like to send my email to someone I don't know!

That was apparently the only way to get it.

Got to the download link but it won't download - ??
Got scripts allowed, etc. Just nothing happening.
