Lost my OS CD

Hello Everyone

I've a problem. I lost my Windows OS CD and I can't seem to find it. I need it to fix a problem on my computer. Does anyone know is its possible for Microsoft to cut me a new CD with the same Serial Code? (I Registered my OS.)

I went to Microsoft website and couldn't find any answers there. If anyone could give me a link to the page where I could find Online Support from a Microsoft Employee, that would also be helpful.

The CD key codes are not tied to a specific CD. It does not matter where you get your replacement - it just has to be the exactly the same type of OS.

If the CD came with your computer, ask the manufacturer for a new one.

So, Does that Mean I can borrow one from a friend, or a neighbour, use it to repair my OS and then give it back?

yes u can if it is the same version as the one u have installed.
