Low 3dmark2003 scores. Any insight / suggestions?

I only get a score of 2212 with my set up which confuses me.
Anyone know what the bottle neck is? My suspicion is my 333 FSB CPU.

ASUS A7N8x
Athlon 3000+ (barton / 2.167 native, OC to 2.336) *333 FSB
512 mb x 2 Corsair 3200 XMS
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128 mb
Hercules Fortissimo III sound card

Water-cooled CPU and GPU
Windows XP professional (SP2)

Even at stock you should still get higher scores, so unless you made a typo in those system specs I think:

A: your pc is heavily infested with spy/adware and/or heavy multitasking (see taskmanager for that ~30 processes is normal for pc w antivirus/firewall soft. and idling)
B: You have heavy IQ settings enabled in your drivers/display settings (especially Antialiasing causes these kind of low scores.)
C: disk defragmenters or the equivalent hog up your systems cpu/memory resources.
