I bought a M-Audio Keystation 49e today, because it seemed to be a very good MIDI keyboard, and because of it using USB instead of the old Gameport, it should be a lot easier to install.
Or so I thought. I managed to install it on my Windows XP machine, which wasn't hard at all, since WinXP detects the keyboard on it's own. It doesn't need 3rd party drivers.
I just couldn't get it to work with my MIDI programs. Not with Modplug Tracker, not with Anvil Studio, not with Cakewalk Sonar and not even with the included copy of Live Lite 4. None of those programs detected the keyboard.
I tried installing some XP drivers found on M-Audio's website, but those didn't work, and neither did that midifix of theirs.
Can anyone help me with the installation of my midi keyboard? I'd be very pleased... Thanks in advance.
