Can view, but cannot download from webpages

I have a huge problem
forn some reason i cant download anything fomr any web site
i can surf, but i cant download, it always freezes the download form
i recently dropped my modem, cound this be the problem ?
Please help !!!!

What browser are you using? There could be a problem with that, or your firewall. Any number of things. If you have any more information please provide it. Did it used to work and now it doesn't?
